VirtualArmor begins expansion into Canada, lists on the Canadian Securities Exchange

Cloud and network security provider VirtualArmor International Inc. has joined the list of companies trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE)

The Centennial, CO-based company, now trading under “VAI”, chose to list in Canada before on a U.S. platform because it wants to stand out to investors, according to the company’s founder and chairman Christopher Blisard.

“There are many sophisticated, tech-oriented investors in centres such as Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, as well as an influx of European and Pan-Asia investors,” he said in a statement. “We believe VirtualArmor will stand out as an investment opportunity as it addresses the key needs of both public and private enterprises.”

The managed services provider offers solutions that cover the network and cloud, and has security operations centres (SOC) in the UK and Salt Lake City, Utah.

The company has plans to build an office in Toronto or Vancouver in 2016.
