VMware broadens hardware certification program

PALO ALTO, Calif. — VMware, Inc. is expanding its hardware certification program to accommodate vendors interested in certifying their I/O devices, servers and storage arrays with VMware Infrastructure.

As part of the program, two independent testing laboratories, AppLabs Technologies and Cognizant, are now authorized to test products for certification with VMware Infrastructure so that they can be placed on the VMware support list.
