Welcome to the new CDN

There is no shortage of conversation topics surrounding the channel reselling market. It’s a changing landscape, continually evolving because of a rapidly changing technology ecosystem.

Computer Dealer News has been covering the Canadian channel community for more than 30 years, and while our dedication to this space isn’t going to change, our name and website – well, we think it’s time they evolved too.

CDN editor, Alex Coop

We welcome you Channel Daily News. To serve a community that’s being transformed by innovation, we’re doing away with our old name of Computer Dealer News. The new CDN will better reflect the modern community of channel partners that we saw take the stage our Channel Innovation Awards last October, as well as the shift to recurring revenue models traditional partners are undergoing.

We will continue to deliver you news about the Canadian channel and the outside forces that have a direct impact on it, but we’re also introducing some new features that we encourage everyone to take advantage of.

  • Our new directory is an excellent source for finding the right channel partner for your specific needs, and with more than 300 partners listed, you can be sure you’ll find exactly what you need.
  • The Canadian Channel Chiefs Council (C4) will be getting extra visibility with a landing page of its own. CDN has covered the not-for-profit “voice of technology channel professionals” since its inception, but moving forward we’ll have more space to write about the organization’s efforts and people behind it. C4 professionals are responsible for developing long-term profitable strategies for channel partners along with innovative solutions that provide a return on investment for customers, and we want you to stay up to date on all of it.

We’re excited to launch the new CDN, but our job isn’t done, and we want your feedback. Are you seeing the stories that matter to you the most? Are navigating pages as smooth as we think it is? Is the directory delivering results that you can use? Please let us know. We want to hear it all. Any and all feedback can be directed to [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you.
