Whaleback Managed Services dials up 911

Whaleback Managed Services is offering solution provdiers new 911 services for emergency response for businesses, educational institutions, and government facilities.

Whaleback’s CrystalBlue Unified Communications Service is at the heart of its 911 offering. CrystalBlue has the ability to send location information to the Public Service Answering Point including street address, building and specific room numbers to enable emergency responders to go directly to the emergency location hopefully faster.

Simultaneously as the call is placed, a 911 call notification is sent through email and/or text to internal emergency response teams allowing the internal team to initiate action to save time.

Other features include:

Per phone location designation specific to individual rooms, offices, buildings, and floors for every phone location;

Phone differentiation when using shared extensions on multiple phones;

Directed Public Service Answering Point call return to the calling phone;

Internal 911 call notification to response teams;

911 for off-site phones with local and out of area location designations.
