Tim Stevens writes that according to DigiTimes, Asus will be releasing an 11.6-inch Eee netbook by the end of this month.

“But, with the 7-inchers relegated to their place in history, perhaps now the company has a little extra room on its production lines. The yet-to-be-released Pré measures 100.5 x 59.5 x 16.9mm and has a slide-out keyboard which the Eos lacks. Equipped with quad-band GSM and HSDPA 3G support, the Eos will also feature a 2.6in, 320 x 400 touchscreen.”
