Perhaps the paperless world isn’t such a myth

Talks long ago about the “paperless” office soon may become a reality. Mike Masnick writes what seems to be causing the move.“The younger generation is less interested in using paper and more and more people are figuring out that they really don’t need paper any more. This won’t mean the end of paper over night, but it certainly appears that we’re finally reaching a point that some had predicted decades ago, where people are recognizing that it’s easier to store things digitally than on paper.”

Nokia plays nice with Google in mobile searc

First Yahoo and Microsoft mobile searches and now Google. Erick Schonfeld writes about Nokia’s newest mobile search addition to its phones.

Nokia is partially embracing Google by agreeing to put Google’s mobile search on some of its phones. It already ships phones with mobile search from Yahoo and Microsoft, so this isn’t that big a deal. But it does show that as Nokia prepares to compete with Google-based Android phones, the cell phone leader will incorporate some basic Google functionality into its own phones as a preemptive move.”
