Win a limited editon Olympic notebook

Lenovo Canada is holding a global online auction of limited-edition notebook computers that will benefit the charity Right To Play.

Right To Play — www.righttoplay.com — uses specially designed sports and play programs to help children and communities hard hit by war, poverty and disease improve their health, develop skills and foster peace.

As part of its ongoing philanthropic activities and its countdown to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, Lenovo will auction the computers in a different country each week. Their design was inspired by the Lenovo-designed Beijing 2008 Olympic torch.

Canada’s auction began on February 19. The sleek, red, ultraportable, “Cloud of Promise” themed notebooks are autographed by Olympic and World Kayak Champion Adam van Koeverden and Special Olympics athlete Russell Gerber, Special Olympics World Summer Games Gold Medalist in Power Lifting. Live bidding will be on the Lenovo microsite www.lenovohopefundauctions.com and all proceeds will go to Right To Play through the Lenovo Hope Fund.
