Top celebrities at CES 2013
Each year it seems more and more A-list to C-list celebrities attend the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. At this year’s event you had a few repeat celebrity attendees such as Will.i.am, 50 Cent and Snooki from the Jersey Shore. One of the trends coming out of the CES 2013 show is that celebrities are sharing their brand with headphone manufacturers. One of the more crazier moments came when heavy metal legend Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead made an appearance. Kilmister, without a doubt, provided a wild moment for show attendees this year and he highlights are Top 10 celebrities at CES 2013 slideshow.

Heavy metal mayhem at CES
For the first time in its history CES welcomed Lemmy Kilmister, lead singer of the ageless heavy metal band Motorhead. Kilmister, along with his band mates where on hand to promote Motorheadphones on the open day of CES. This is what Kilmister had to say about it: “These new headphones are not like the weak-kneed, lily-livered, tin-pot, skinny sounding little pieces of garbage out on the market today,” said Lemmy from Motorhead. “We designed these headphones to deliver everything louder than anything else and with the sort of range, clarity and TRUE rock reproduction you’d expect from a band of warriors like us.: For more on Motorhead and these new headphones read this story.

The Woman in Red
Most people will remember Kelly LeBrock from the hit movie “The Woman in Red” alongside comedian Gene Wilder. But I remember her better in that Steven Seagal punch-out “Hard to Kill”, where she played the damsel in distress. Anyway, LeBrock provided a lot of sparks at the CES show for Velodyne Acoustics.

Tim Tebow has a lot of soul at CES
Tim Tebow’s NFL season with the New York Jets this year, well…let’s say it wasn’t as miraclous as last year’s with the Denver Broncos. So since he is not playing in the playoffs this year, Tebow was free to accommpany Soul Electronics on Thursday of the show for a new product launch.

Danny DeVito partners with Panasonic
One of the tough-guy actors in Hollywood (despite his stature) is Danny DeVito. So it was fitting that the “Twins” and “Taxi”” star partner with Panasonic who makes Tough and Rugged devices such as the ToughPad and the ToughBook. DeVito made an appearence at the Panasonic booth on Wednesday of the show and actually brought a lot of insight for attendees as he talked about the intersection of technology and entertainment. Rapper star 50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson, came by the SMS Audio booth on Wednesday of the show to talk about style, fashion, and functionality of sound.

Snooki comes back to CES for an encore
What would CES be without an encore presentation from Snooki of the hit reality TV show Jersey Shore? Snooki, also known as Nicole Polizzi, came by last year and created quite a stir. This year she was on hand to help Zeikos. Not sure what Zeikos does, but it was great that they could get Snooki on such short notice.

Digital Health Summit at CES
One of the more important trends coming out of this year’s CES show was digital health. On hand for a panel discussion on digital health was online publisher Arianna Huffington, TV surgeon Dr. Oz and CNN’s chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta. The Digital Health Summit at CES focused on the fast growing market and how solution providers can develop health and wellness opportunity with technology.

Maroon 5 rocks another high tech show

Will.i.am gets deeper into technology
One of the more tech savvy celebrities is Will.i.am of the musical group The Black Eyed Peas. You can actually describe him as a creative innovator with technology. He spoke at the Intel conference last year and we on had at the Beats Electronics booth and he was a panelist at the Next Generation of Innovators keynote at CES. Carrot Top and digital music
One of the biggest questions coming out of the CES show is what does comedian and Las Vegas regular Carrot Top have to do with music, or in this case, digital music. Carrot Top along with all of his red, curly hair was at the Gibson Guitar tent at CES. And, rumour has it Carrot Top performed live. Not sure if it was stand-up comedy or stand-up guitar playing?
