With Dell Canada Inc. holding its Partner Summit this week, there’s never been a better time to meet folks inside the company and others in the Dell community.
This week, Dell Canada Inc. will be holding a two-day event for its partners in Toronto. Hosted at the Westin Prince Toronto, the event will include breakout sessions to help resellers find more opportunities for sales and expansions, as well as chances to network and grow their groups of connections.
The event also features key Dell executives as speakers, like Kevin Peesker, president of Dell Canada Inc. Here at Computer Dealer News, we’ve written a lot about Peesker in the past, naming him as our second-biggest channel newsmaker of the year. We also met with him for a one-on-one candid interview, where he told us about Dell’s decision to go private, as well as why it’s important to take a Canada-first approach to the channel.
The partner summit will also feature Cheryl Cook, vice-president of global channel alliances at Dell Inc. She met with us at VMWorld in San Francisco in August to talk about how Dell would be updating its channel program, and how that would affect resellers.
We’ll also hear from Tara Fine, Dell Canada’s channel chief and one of our first board members at the Canadian Channel Chiefs Council, a newly formed organization with our editor, Paolo Del Nibletto, at the helm.
If you’re a Dell reseller and you can’t make the event, have no fear. For the next two days, the staff of IT World Canada will be on the ground and following what’s happening at the Partner Summit.
