A tour of the Dell Power To Do More summit

TORONTO – Dell Canada held its Power To Do More Summit last week at the brand new Delta Toronto SouthCore hotel. The event hosted several Canadian channel partners and customer and featured showcase displays from 3D printing vendor Maker Bot, Intel Canada and PEI’s own plug-and-play digital signage solution provider ScreenScape Networks. 

The event started with an opening keynote from Dell Canada president Kevin Peesker, which was followed up by a joint session with Intel Canada country manager Graham Palmer and Microsoft Canada’s OEM VP John Kennedy.

Dell also brought in two top executives in Kirk Schell, the VP product marketing for client solutions and Canadian Amughan Ahmad, the VP of global enterprise solutions and alliances.

There were many breakout sessions for the channel and customers on storage, data protection, the modern IT department and what that looks like, big data, cloud, and a look at women entrepreneurs.

The guest keynote was delivered by Rich Horwath, a strategic thinker and strategy expert.
