CDN Women 2015: How diversity adds value to an organization

Rose MacKinnon, the senior director of retail sales at Ingram Micro Canada, the founding sponsor of the CDN Women of the IT Channel Recognition Luncheon, had nearly 130 attendees at the event in tears with her speech about family.

MacKinnon told CDN that Ingram Micro Canada recognizes that there are gender gaps in the IT sector and the company believes that diversity adds value to an organizations such as hers.

She currently sits on the Canadian committee for Ingram Micro’s Diversity Forum, which is an internal group designed to foster growth and leadership amongst all levels of associates across the organization.

In this video interview, MacKinnon talks about diversity along with some of the influential women leaders she has worked with.
