Exploring Intel’s autonomous car – All Hands on Tech

At CES 2018, Intel revealed its self-driving car strategy through its acquisition of Mobileye and partnership with BMW, and we got a first look.

This time on All Hands on Tech, we explore what the chip maker has planned for the autonomous vehicle future. The company’s serious turn to the automotive sector started in 2017 with the acquisition of Israel-based Mobileye. Not to say that this is the first foray for Intel into this market, as in the past it has worked with Tier 1 systems manufacturers and OEMs on infotainment systems.
