Pure Storage CEO changing the business model for data

Scott Dietzen, the CEO of Pure Storage, has been called a disruptor, a change agent, aggressive and many other things.

In six years at the helm of Pure Storage, an all-flash array vendor based in Mountain View, Calif., he has tried to re-invent storage to be more innovative for the cloud. According to Dietzen, storage has not change in 25 years. Under his leadership, Pure Storage is working to change the market perception of all-flash storage.

He recently paid a visit to the CDN editorial offices to conduct a two-part interview on Pure Storage’s plans for the Canadian market. Pure Storage has recently established roots in Canada and Dietzen talks about that along with how his company wants to change business model around data in Part One of the interview.

Make sure to come back for Part Two of CDN’s special interview with Dietzen.
