Turning software-defined networking into a channel service

In part two of this special interview with Armughan Ahmad, the vice president of Global Networking solutions for Dell, he outlines how software-defined networking is ushering in a new breed of IT.

Ahmad was the keynote speaker at the recently concluded Dell/ITWC Cookin’ IT Right event in Toronto, where new knowledge about software-defined networking (SDN) was realized by many channel partners in attendance.

Dell Canada’s position on the burgeoning SDN market is that it presents a new, innovative approach to solving tough enterprise challenges.

Ahmad was interviewed at the event and in this two part interview he outlines the possibilities of SDN and how it pushes the envelope.

Ahmad leads the sales and systems engineering teams globally that deliver what he calls SDx, cloud, big data, mobile and security solutions comprised of networking, servers and storage solutions for large enterprise, public institutions, and the SMB.
