At AWS Re:Invent in Las Vegas, developers are learning how to train reinforcement machine learning models by teaching autonomous toy cars to speed around a race track. AWS has launched a DeepRacer League and is inviting anyone to participate by attending its summits in 2019 and competing at the SpeedWay. In this video, Mike Miller, sr. manager, product management for AWS AI, unboxes the DeepRacer unit and goes through it component by component. The car is available for pre-order on Amazon now for a $249 USD promotional price and will eventually cost $399 USD.
