What is IBM’s quantum computer?

IBM has been in a race with its fellow tech giants to build a practical quantum computer, and its made a big leap forward with its 50 qubits quantum computer.

This time on All Hands on Tech, we were on the ground in Las Vegas at CES 2018 to take a look at IBM’s new quantum computer. We asked one simple question – what is it?

Check out the video above for the rundown of the technology, and some of its applications like in machine learning, from Jeffrey Welser, the vice president and lab director of IBM Research – Almaden.
