Grant first began her aspiring career at CitiFinancial and Bell Canada, asserting a strong foothold into Canada’s technology scene. Soon after, Grant became the inside sales account manager team lead at SHI Canada before taking on the role of business development manager at Insight. Today, she’s helming the sales manager role at PCM Canada.

As a leader, Grant’s competitiveness and pursuit of perfection have had a profound impact on her workplace. She holds herself and her team to high standards and accountability.

When asked about her proudest achievements, Grant told CDN about the metrics that drive her.

“I do love the competitive nature of working as a team to win contests and to crush our goal every month, not just in revenue, but in GP as well,” she said. “I think that was one of my major things I’m proud of. And then from being at SHI…was being the top account manager every year that I’ve been there.”

Although Tanya had initially wanted to become a lawyer, technology’s rapid development pace encouraged her to enter the field. Her leadership qualities combined with her passion for teamwork, aligned her on the fast track to success.

“I really felt passionate about it because I love technology; I love how it’s always changing. And I love it’s not it’s not mundane. There’s always new, there’s something always emerging. And I love working with our partners, our customers, and I love working with my reps, my team. So I’m very passionate about what I do.”

Tanya also warmly embraces volunteering opportunities and organize events to bring her customers together, according to Michael Rodger, senior advisor of IT strategy and infrastructure at Auberge Resorts Collection.

“Tanya is a completely dependable, customer-focused individual with exceptional attention to detail. Her sense of ownership and accountability are second to none,” he said.
