One of the main disadvantages the marketplace faces on an ongoing basis is lack of battery life for portable devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Spanish IT vendor Energy Sistem is trying to put an end to the dead battery by releasing Energy Extra Battery 5200.
This rechargeable lithium polymer battery with 5200mAh capacity is meant to be carried. The new product charges all kinds of devices, according to the company. It sports eight interchangeable connectors that enable users to charge smartphones, tablets or media players, GPS devices, digital cameras or portable consoles without the need of additional devices.
The Energy Extra Battery 5200 includes an intelligent protection system that works to prevent overloads, voltage spikes and short circuits. Moreover, it will allow users to charge at the same time the Energy Extra Battery and another portable device.
Energy Sistem is also promising that the 5200 will keep almost the 95 per cent of the charge during more than 30 days and to save battery with the Auto-Off function, detecting when there are no devices connected.
At just 140 grams and 13 millimetres, users will be able to carry it in a bag or jacket and keep it at hand anytime they wish.
