Instagram says it’s going to block hashtags that lead to anti-vaccination misinformation, plans for the world’s first 3D-printed community are revealed, and Jeff Bezos is shooting for the moon.

Instagram has announced that it will begin hiding search results for hashtags that frequently return false information about vaccines. With the help of machine learning, the company says it will review posts that are being removed under misinformation policies and determine if they have a “high proportion” of misinformation. Instagram says it’s also going to introduce pop-up messages for people searching for information about vaccines that will link them to accurate information about the subject. The news, which is now trending on Reddit, comes after increasing pressure from the public aimed at Facebook, which has been under fire for its struggles to remove anti-vaccine propaganda.
An acclaimed designer from fuseproject, the Texas-based construction technologies company Icon, and New Story, a nonprofit organization, have unveiled plans to build a 3D-printed community, providing more than 50 homes for impoverished families in Latin America. Icon’s 3D printed home has been integrated into community designs in order to lay the foundation for different programs, family spaces and various climate factors. Icon says it’s developed a portable printer can create durable homes out of local concrete. As of this recording, the location of the 3D printed community, which is now trending across social media, has not yet been disclosed, but New Story says the families moving into these homes are mostly farmers and palm weavers who often live in multigenerational homes and live on less than $200 per month.
And lastly trending on Twitter, Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos unveiled Blue Moon, a new lunar lander for his other company – yes his other company – which he wants to send to the moon. According to reports, the date of the launch has not been set, but engine testing begins this summer. The goal is to help roll out the next generation of mining, which Bezos and other researchers strongly believe is in space, and more specifically, on the moon. the Blue Moon lander will be able to soft-land on the lunar surface with up to 6.5 metric tons of payload weight. Bezos claims the lander will be able to carry all kinds of material on its upper deck and deploy as many as four large moon rovers at the same time.
