CDN Top 100 Workshop: Windows Server 2003 end of life

TORONTO – While Microsoft’s Windows Server 2003 will reach end of life in July, new research shows more than half of Canadian business are still running at least some of their workloads on the soon to be unsupported platform.

Businesses surveyed across North America say that 57 per cent of them are still running a portion of their operation on the platform (50 per cent in Canada), and most enterprises are considering a cloud-based solution as part of their upgrade scenario.

At the CDN Top 100 gala workshop top solution provider executives were treated to an in-depth workshop on Windows Server 2003 end of support led by Brendan Howe of solution provider TDCNet and customer Stephanie Widenoja, CIO of Variety Village of Toronto.
