Rugged tablet maker Xplore is taking on the spotlight and the Canadian market

Xplore Technologies does one thing, and one thing only – make rugged tablets. The company, based in Austin, Texas, is known in some circles such as the industrial and manufacturing space but has remained somewhat anonymous in others.

Now, the company that has risen to first place in the rugged tablet area in the Americas, according to VDC Research, after its acquisition of rival Motion Computing, Inc. in April, and wants to reintroduce itself to Canada.  It’s a market that the company says it has both significant presence in already, but also one where it expects significant growth.
