A video roundup: Microsoft’s 2008 Worldwide Partner Conference

If you couldn’t make it to Microsoft’s annual Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston last week, or if you did and you’d just like to relive the experience, here’s a selection of videos offering a taste of the show.

Microsoft’s conferences are always known for their entertaining and high-budget videos, such as the time founder Bill Gates was out on trial by The People’s Court. In this year’s channel-themed video installment, Microsoft channel chief Allison Watson tried her hand at a channel-themed rap video:

With Gates having retired from the day-today of Microsoft the new face of the software vendor is CEO Steve Ballmer, a man with a history of, shall we say, energetic keynote performances. By past standards, Ballmer’s WPC 08 address was positively sedate:
