Apple IS in the enterprise – if you know where to look

“If an enterprise employs someone with an average affinity for consumer electronics, Apple is already in the enterprise. True, its Xserve line may not have caught fire with CIOs, but Apple has realized it’s not in the business of pleasing CIOs. It’s in the business of pleasing users – an attitude more CIOs might want to consider if they want to keep their projects on schedule and under budget.”
Vishing attacks rise alarmingly, Internet Crime Complaint Center warns

Layer 8 writes that according to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), voice phishing, also known as vishing attacks, are on the rise as mobile phones are now being used as targets.
“A new vishing technique is also growing, the IC3 stated. In the new scenario text messages are sent to cell phones claiming the recipient’s on-line bank account has expired. The message instructs the recipient to renew their on-line bank account by using the link provided.”

“IBM Lotus Software general manager Michael D Rhodin described the buyout as a ‘terrific business opportunity’ to drum up more trade among the SMB marketplace, where rival Microsoft already has a considerable foothold. The deal, subject to the normal regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the first quarter of this year.”
