Dell axes hackintosh makers’ favourite netbook

“Dell has knocked the nine-inch machine on the head, preferring instead to point punters at the 10-inch Mini 10 and Mini 10v. The latter offers the same spec as the Mini 9, but with a bigger screen and keyboard, and a 160GB hard drive. What’s not to like? asks Dell.”
Toshiba debuts its first netbook, the mini NB205

“The mini NB205 netbook, a system boasting a full-sized keyboard, large touchpad and nine hours of battery life, according to the company. It marks Toshiba’s first such entry into the growing netbook market. Positioned as a premium netbook, the system features a 10.1-inch diagonal widescreen LED backlit display, a full-size QWERTY raised-tile (‘chiclet’) keyboard and a full-size touchpad. It has Microsoft Windows XP installed.”
