Value-added distributor Avnet Technology Solutions says that it is the first distributor to offer remote implementation services for Hitachi Data Systems partners.
According to Avnet, its new Express Implementation Services will give its Hitachi partners the ability to quickly install, provision, tune and back up customer storage environments built on Hitachi Unified Storage. It will be available through Avnet Services as a way for partners to grow profit opportunities around professional services.
The express implementation services are tailored to Hitachi Unified Storage, including the Hitachi Unified Storage 110 and 130, and include a focus on device management, dynamic provisioning, tuning management, file structure and management, and in-system and remote replication.
