BAASS acquires Toronto and Edmonton-based solution provider

CDN Top 100 Solution ProviderBAASS Business Solutions Inc. has acquired Toronto and Edmonton-based CA-Plus Inc., as the company was on the verge of celebrating its 20th year in business.

The acquisition will give BAASS, a full service IT solution provider, a stronger presence within the downtown Toronto core and allows it to expand its operations into Western Canada. Currently, BAASS operates out of Toronto, Montreal, London, and Detroit. It also services smaller suburban Ontario towns near Toronto such as Thornhill, Burlington, Mississauga, and Barrie.

BAASS is one of Sage Software’s top channel partners in Canada.

Joseph Arnone, president of BAASS, said the company has competed with CA-Plus for a number of years and been exposed first hand to the value CA-Plus brings to its clients. The strategic acquisition of CA-Plus has enabled BAASS to strengthen its Sage X3 portfolio.

CA-Plus will inject a team of twenty application and technical consultants along with sales and marketing resources.
