Claudio Digirolamo of CompuCom Canada with Kevin Peesker, the president of Dell Canada, now Dell EMC

One of the more coveted awards from the Channel Elite Awards is Best Managed Services Solution and for 2016 CompuCom Canada, a CDN Top 5 company, came out on top.

This nationwide organization decided to take a holistic approach to providing a cancer care facility with a host of IT services to more than 27,000 client devices and 15,000 end users.

Claudio Digirolamo, the senior vice president of Life Sciences Solutions for CompuCom Canada, said by using a holistic view of IT they were able to spot network problems faster and more accurately.

This resulted in providing a flexible network structure that allows for mobility, stability, and absolute resiliency. Also part of the project was to move a data centre, upgrade the client’s health system’s core infrastructure and enable regional healthcare providers better access to information and technology that improves the delivery of quality care to patients across the region.

CEA Silver Winner

Taking home, the Silver award in this category is Toronto’s Asca Office Solutions. The company provided a solution that conducts an in-depth assessment of corporate printer fleets and then provides custom recommendations such as hardware configuration, potential upgrades, and equipment consolidation.

Asca Office Solutions is a print management solutions and services provider.

CEA Bronze Winner

The company winning the Bronze award in the Best Managed Services Solution stopped being a distraction to its customer.

ITnorth Network and Consulting Services Ltd., of Victoria, B.C. explained it this way: They provided their customer with a modernized IT infrastructure featuring a state-of-the-art Hybrid Server Cloud solution that would grow with them while providing improved efficiency and reduced costs.

By doing this the customer was able to focus more on their core business instead of managing their own IT. Hence removing the distraction.
