ConnectWise offering NOC services with new partnership

ORLANDO – Professional services automation (PSA) vendor ConnectWise is adding a NOC service to its ever growing arsenal with a new partnership with New York-based managed service provider, IT By Design (ITBD).

ITBD has been providing NOC support to its own customers, a move that has been so successful for them that the company decided to begin offering its services to MSPs looking to outsource this sort of work.

With employees around the globe, and with the NOC standardized entirely on ConnectWise software, ConnectWise through this new partnership can provide 24/7 worldwide NOC support. ITBD has been a ConnectWise customer for over a decade, and come into the partnership as expects of ConnectWise software through the LabTech platform.

“ITBD has been a long time ConnectWise LabTech partner, that has had a lot of success in servicing their clients with a NOC. When an end user calls, says something is down, whatever that may be, the NOC team is there. They are always constantly monitoring the network, and they were having so much success managing their MSP that they figured they could find even more success with us,” said Gavin Gambler, ConnectWise vice president of channel sales and alliances in an interview with CDN.

The deal has been in the making for the past six months, however, NOC support has been something ConnectWise has been looking to offer for some time now. The PSA provider understands that there are MSPs who are not with ConnectWise due to the lack of NOC support.

“We’re very excited about [the partnership with ITBD]. We think that it is something that maybe some people who haven’t been able to work with us because NOC support is a key part of their strategy will now be able to work with us,” added Adam Slutskin, ConnectWise chief revenue officer to CDN. “For the people who want this service, and prefer to standardize on our software, we can now offer them these NOC services.”

Additionally, at its IT Nation conference in Orlando, CEO Arnie Bellini announced that ConnectWise’s four flagship solutions, Quosal, ConnectWise, LabTech, and ScreenConnect, will be rebranded under the ConnectWise banner.

Quosal is now ConnectWise Sell, the company’s quote and proposal automation software. ConnectWise is now ConnectWise Manage, the company’s business management software for PSA. LabTech is now ConnectWise Automate, the company’s remote monitoring and management software. ScreenConnect is now ConnectWise Control, the company’s remote control and remote access software.
