Dell’s Donna Wittmann is Cisco Canada’s next channel chief

It has taken about nine months, but Cisco Canada has finally named its replacement for Ross Pellizzari as Channel Chief.

Donna Wittmann, a highly respected executive in the IT industry for Dell Canada as vice president, global software and peripherals at Dell, will be named vice president, channels for Cisco Canada, as early as today.

According to sources, Wittmann announced to Dell Canada executives yesterday that she would be taking on this new challenge.

At Cisco Canada, Wittmann will oversee a national team, providing internal coordination, supporting sales and customer advocacy organizations, marketing, and other key business units.

Prior to joining Cisco, Wittmann spent 15 years with Xerox Corp. where she held a variety of senior-level sales and marketing positions, most notably as the vice president of Small and Medium Business for North America. She also served as Xerox Canada’s vice president of Channels for three years.

Wittmann started her career at Ernst & Young. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Penn State.

Wittmann is a board member of the Future Possibilities for Kids organization.

Cisco Canada also announced two other new executive hires. John Bell is the new vice president, systems engineering and Ash Mathur is the new vice president, solutions group.
