Tech Data Canada has confirmed they have inked a distribution agreement with Fortinet, vendor of unified threat management (UTM) solutions.
Through this partnership, authorized Tech Data Canada resellers can now offer Fortinet’s line of network security solutions, which protect against network-level and content-level threats.
Greg Myers, vice president, marketing for Tech Data Canada said Fortinet pioneered the use of application-specific integrated circuit [ASIC] acceleration for UTM and has demonstrated success and value in the enterprise market.
Tech Data Canada will distribute Fortinet’s entire line of network security solutions – including the FortiGate line of multi-threat security appliances, FortiMail secure messaging appliances, FortiManager centralized management appliances, FortiAnalyzer logging, reporting and analysis appliances and FortiClient endpoint security software.
Michael Valentine, vice president of Americas channel sales for Fortinet, said Tech Data Canada will be critical as Fortinet continues to extend its reach to new solution providers in the region.
