“MSPs need to include marketing in their budgets for 2009. Check in with other local businesses – independent retailers, independent restaurants, etc. – to find out who developed their logos, web sites and marketing materials. At the same time, check in with your distribution and vendor partners to see what co-marketing or complete creative services they offer.”

“According to latest figures from Infonetics Research, Cisco edged past Symantec to lead in the worldwide content security gateway appliance market last quarter. It also widened its lead in the second quarter of 2008, reports Infonetics. Blue Coat holds the No. 3 spot. Meanwhile, Websense, which acquired SurfControl in 2007, leads the worldwide content security gateway software market, as well as the overall content security gateway sector, reports Infonetics.”
