Some large IBM solutions are coming to Ingram Micro Canada.
The Canadian arm of the distributor announced today that it’s adding IBM Power Systems to its Advanced Solutions portfolio.
IBM Business Partners will now have access to the complete IBM portfolio, which includes Power Systems, Systems Storage, Software, Services and Global Financing.
“Power systems and enterprise storage are staple growth categories for our channel partners as they continue to experience building demand for these foundations of emerging technologies and cloud-based services adoption,” said David Mason, vice president of advanced solutions at Ingram Micro Canada said in a statement.
The company committed to recruitment and training for IBM Business Partners, as well as joint marketing, sales and technical support with IBM.
According to IBM, Power Systems products in Canada will provide opportunities in the mid-market to service providers and ISVs.
