Ingram Micro Canada named an Avaya Connect value-added distributor

Ingram Micro Canada, a subsidiary of Ingram Micro Inc., was named yesterday as an Avaya Connect calue-added distributor (VAD).

The new agreement is an expansion of Ingram’s existing distribution relationship with Avaya Canada. Now Ingram will market, sell and support Avaya’s entire line of its Enterprise Communications Solutions which includes unified communications, contact center, small to mid-size enterprise and data networking solutions.

Ingram will offer partners access to business development resources, technical support, pre and post-sales support, demand generation, and more. In addition to offering its Canadian partners these tools, the distributor is also actively seeking out new partners and is working to train its existing partners on the Avaya line. Ingram will also offer targeted boot camps to help partners achieve Avaya credentials to sell small and mid-size enterprise communication solutions. These credentials will include “Avaya Professional Sales Specialist,” and “Avaya Certified Solution Specialist.”

Ingram Micro Canada’s general manager, Mark Snider, said the expanded distribution relationship with Avaya offers channel partners more choices and flexibility.

“Unified communications and data networking are high-ticket technologies for our channel partners, which is why we continue to expand our solutions portfolio and invest in the marketing, sales and technical resources our partners need to win more business and provide exceptional customer care,” Snider said. “By expanding our relationship with Avaya, we’re building upon our proven market expertise and providing our channel partners with greater choice and flexibility.”
