Amazon’s Kindle tablet doesn’t need to be an ‘iPad killer’ to be a winner

Adrian Kingsley-Hughes writes that critics who compare the products are missing the point.

“My take on the Amazon tablet is that despite being a tablet, it will compete in a different market to the iPad. People who want an iPad either already have one or are planning to buy one at some point. These people are unlikely to be swayed by any other tablet no matter who makes it. Apple can easily sell every iPad it makes, and the Amazon Kindle tablet is unlikely to change that.”
