LPI develops a major new features for its Managed Workplace

LPI Level Platforms Inc., has updated its flagship Managed Workplace 2011 platform with major new capabilities.

Enhancements to the RMM platform will be available in both on premise and cloud versions include a suite of Remote Tools that enable MSPs to address issues on end user systems in real time, without interrupting the workers using those systems.

Also introduced in this release is a new plug-in Service Module architecture which extends the comprehensive Policy Module monitoring concept started by LPI. The first of these modules, Symantec Backup Exec, is available now.

Network Audits provide MSPs with insight into the state of a client’s or prospect’s network, including all devices and applications. This release includes a prepackaged set of easy-to-run reports that allow MSPs to clearly demonstrate the value they can deliver to improve IT performance with their managed services offering.

Additionally, Managed Workplace 2011 R2 automates the collection of warranty information for Acer, Dell, Gateway, HP, Lenovo and Toshiba products and provides warranty-driven alerting and reporting so users can address technology obsolescence risks proactively, by either extending warranties or upgrading obsolete products.

Other new features include enhanced SNMP monitoring, new automation features to enable increased flexibility in script execution scenarios, new power management features and much more.
