Microsoft and Dragon’s Den’s Arlene aim to create Facebook for entrepreneurs

Microsoft Canada is teaming up with a Dragon to support and empower Canadian entrepreneurs.

The software giant is lending its support to YouINC, an online community for celebrating and empowering entrepreneurs crated as a resource hub by business leader Arlene Dickinson, best known as one of the Dragons on the popular CBC program Dragon’s Den.

“Microsoft Canada is extremely excited to support this incredible initiative.  We believe that entrepreneurs and SMB’s have a significant role in driving innovation in Canada,” said Dennis Cerasoli, vice-president, small and midmarket solutions and partners group at Microsoft Canada, in a statement. “Technology is the foundation for successful businesses and we are thrilled that Microsoft Canada will be the platform to enable entrepreneurs and SMB’s realize their full potential.”

The collaboration will see Microsoft Canada work with Dickinson to create content on business technology solutions for entrepreneurs, and providing access to tech experts to help entrepreneurs with technology challenges they may face while growing their businesses.
