Nokia launches laptop

James Sherwood writes that Nokia has launched its first laptop, Booklet 3G.
“Described by Nokia’s Executive Vice President as a “natural evolution” for the formally phone-only firm, today’s surprise announcement sees the Finnish phone firm unveil a machine with a 10.1in HD-ready display. Booklet 3G’s body measures less than 2cm thick, Nokia promised, and the machine weighs in at 1,200 grams.”
Google Chrome 4 launches with bookmark synchronization

Garett Rogers writes about Google’s recently announced Chrome 4 version for the developer preview channel.
“To use the new feature bookmark synchronization, launch the ‘dev channel’ version of Chrome with the –enable-sync flag, and then enable the feature in your options. Bookmark sync uses the XMPP protocol to broadcast your bookmark activity to other instances of Chrome that you are using.”
