IT World Canada
Jennifer Kavur shares her thoughts on Logitech’s V220 cordless optical mouse product.

“Priced at US $29.99, the compact mouse features a 1000 dpi optical sensor, six month battery life, cross-platform compatibility, horizontal scrolling and zoom, an ergonomic design and rubber grips. The V220 offers the right amount of features for a very decent price. It performs well and is well suited for students who don’t want to spend a lot of money on a wireless mouse or travelers who want a comfortable device that works on multiple platforms with little fuss.”

Timothy Prickett Morgan recaps Oracle’s first quarter of its fiscal 2010 year results.

“New software license sales were down 17 per cent to just over $1 billion, but software license updates and product support rose six per cent, to $3.11 billion. For the fiscal second quarter, Oracle expects earnings of between 26 cents and 27 cents per share, up from 25 cents per share in the second quarter of fiscal 2009. Overall sales should be anywhere from flat to up three per cent.”
