Pivot3 wants to bring its hyperconverged solution to small-to-medium-sized business and remote branch offices.
Acuity X3 Series HCI Solutions, Pivot3’s latest HCI offering, is now available, the company announced in a March 14 press release, and it’s specifically aimed at companies that want to reduce their complexity, costs and data centre footprint.
“The solution is ideal for enterprises and SMBs that require a space-efficient solution with high performance and a comprehensive suite of data services,” says Pivot3.
Those services include erasure coding, data protection, data reduction and integration with VMware vSphere and vCenter. Pivot3 adds the Acuity X3 series helps organizations experience “guaranteed performance of critical applications within a broad range of use cases while equipping a small IT staff team to manage entire multi-site distributed environments from a single pane of glass.”
Customers have been asking for a solution to their footprint issues that doesn’t compromise performance and data services, said Ben Bolles, vice-president of product management for Pivot3.
“With the Acuity X3 series, we’ve reached a critical stage in HCI innovation in which all organizations can experience breakthrough performance and sophisticated intelligence – no matter the size or use case,” he said.
The Acuity X3 Series is available through Pivot3’s network of channel partners, which includes partners in Canada. The Canadian channel partners able to sell the new solution are Longview, PCM, Myra, CDW and Soroc.
