Tech Data today announced that it is bringing its Cloud Solutions Store to Canada with the global launch of TDCloud.
The Cloud Solutions Store provides a hub in the style of an app store that allows service providers to administer cloud service delivery. According to Tech Data, the entire provisioning process can be done in one place, including assessment, quoting, provisioning, and management of both Infrastructure and Software-as-a-Service.
The store is also also capable of handling various billing models, and is part of TDCloud, which Tech Data calls a dedicated business within the company that provides “education, enablement and assistance with transitioning to cloud- and subscription-based models.”
“We are extremely excited to also be launching the Tech Data Cloud Solutions Store in Canada,” said Sukh Randhawa, vice president of business operations at Tech Data Canada in a statement. “It will help Canadian solution providers and vendor partners integrate and transition to cloud, opening up new revenue and profit streams for our reseller partners.”
