ERP and e-commerce solutions provider Acceo Solutions is making good on the third of four planned acquisitions for 2015 with the announcement today of its purchase of Gemmar Systems International (GSI).
Montreal-based Acceo will be acquiring both the Canadian and American assets of GSI, which provides retail solutions including POS, store operations, merchandise management, and e-commerce.
The purchase would further Acceo’s push into the retail area. In June, when the company acquired Toronto-based Multipost, president and CEO Gilles Létourneau told CDN that retail, municipal solutions, and construction were core target areas for growth.
The company’s second acquisition was announced just two weeks ago when it bought Julo Ltd, a Quebec-based firm in the online broadcasting and recreation industries.

It adds to Acceo’s portfolio solutions that include e-commerce solutions, and relationship marketing tools such as loyalty programs, gift cards and promotional systems.
