CDN Top 100

It’s one of the biggest nights in the channel – CDN’s Top 100 Solution Providers gala – and it’s happening Wednesday.

One of CDN’s signature events and recognition programs, the Top 100 Solution Providers recognizes the top solution providers in the Canadian IT channel, ranked by revenue. In addition to the top five, awards are presented for the top solution provider in each region, as well as the top newcomer and the rising star. The evening gets underway at 6pm.

Before the awards and networking gala gets underway, select partners will gather on site for a special workshop series, which this year is focused on cloud computing.

Tony Olvet, group vice-president, research with IDC Canada gets things underway at 4pm when he presents the findings of a Cloud Survey Report of the Canadian market, which was produced in cooperation with CDN. After Olvet sets the scene, a high-powered panel will talk about how Canadian partners can reorient their businesses for the cloud computing opportunity. Taking part in the panel are Bill Dupley, chief technologist for the enterprise group with HP Canada, Greg Myers, senior vice-president of sales and marketing with Tech Data Canada, Louie Papanicolopoulos, manager of channel sales for Canon Canada, and a representative from Dell Canada.

Finally, channel financing expert Bruce Stuart, president of Channel Corp., will pull it all together and provide actionable advice and strategies for partners to make cloud computing a profitable enterprise.
