Westcon undergoes facelift

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Specialty distributor Westcon Group, Inc. has launched a new worldwide corporate identity and corporate website infrastructure.

The changes build upon Westcon’s multi-national solutions program infrastructure which began over two years ago and is aimed at giving a more seamless relations for the distributor’s customers, vendors, partners and suppliers.

New logo designs encompass Westcon’s Comstor, Westcon, Voda One, LAN Systems and the newly acquired NOXS and Crane organizations, and are aligned with the distributor’s solutions programs including OneVoice, OneDefense, ConvergencePoint, VoicePoint and SecurityPoint.

“Our focus is simple,” said Duncan Potter, Westcon’s chief marketing officer. “We want to help our customers be more effective and efficient in the way they sell solutions to an end-user customer. Our new corporate identity and corporate website infrastructure reflect our leading go-to-market strategy in achieving this while illustrating our maturity as a company as well.”

The new corporate website consolidates 25 individual sites into a single, corporate web environment. Visitors can access its solution program sites, on-line e-commerce, corporate information, career information and many other areas. The new web site, which also supports advanced web 2.0 capabilities and advanced search engine functionality.
