Blackberry Storm Needs Bailout And A Stimulus Package

Mitchell Ashley writes why RIM’s BlackBerry Storm smartphone is such a disappointment.
“(The BlackBerry Storm is) really a device that’s not ready for prime time. Why is the Blackberry Storm such a huge disappointment? The Storm does not do what it says it will do, at least not a reliable basis, and sometimes not at all. The Storm’s UI is very slow and sluggish to respond. Do the economy a favour and buy a device that actually increases productivity, not stifles it like the Storm does.”
Intel launches new chip logos, rating system

Andrew Nusca writes about Intel’s new ratings system for its chips that go from one star (lowest performance), up to five stars, signifying the best performance in class.
“‘When a consumer goes into a Best Buy store they can distinguish between Centrino, Core, Celeron, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad,’ said Intel spokesman Bill Calder. ‘When we launched Core i7, we said we’re moving to a single primary client brand, which is Core. We’re moving in that direction.’”
