HP Partner First program introduces one-stop portal zone

As part of HP Inc.’s modernized Partner First channel program, the printing and personal systems giant announced a new partner portal to speed up go-to market activities for channel partners.

The new portal is a one-stop resourced named HP Co-Marketing Zone Plus or CMZ+ for short.

The CMZ+ portal dramatically improves campaign creation as a channel partner can now simply upload target customer lists into the system and launch local or global outreach using one of five online modules.

Those are co-branded collateral marketing; electronic direct mail (EDM) marketing; microsite marketing; event marketing or search marketing management. And, all this is available straight from the CMZ+ portal site.

CMZ+ can reduce the time it takes to create campaigns by more than 50 per cent, while increase demand generation.

Under the CMZ+ portal, HP’s solution provider partners can easily track all campaigns out in the field for market effectiveness, return on investment, performance and pipeline development worldwide.

Vincent Brissot, vice president and head of channel marketing and operations at HP, said the portal was re-imaged into an end-to-end solution so that it can improve the speed for partners to execute and track marketing campaigns. With this portal, channel partners can now adjust campaigns on the fly.

In addition, HP has also improved the overall experience of its partner portal site. CMZ+ now provides channel partners with more direct access to the content they value.

Another areas of focus for HP Inc. is in social media as a selling tool.

HP is getting ahead of the social selling trend and has developed the Social Media Center or SMC. SMC will now be a part of HP Sales Central to provide specific industry content on several topics along with breaking HP news that partners can share with customers or other important people across all the well-known social channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

SMC works to help the channel showcase their expertise through social business networks.

The revamped Partner First program featuring CMZ+ and SMC can now recognize channel partners’ areas of strength. With that these partners can attain the partner level that is based on their strengths.
