That’s why IT World Canada is sponsoring the Ingenious Awards, produced by the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC). Canadian CIO recently spoke with one of last year’s winners. Fariba Anderson was the vice-president of lottery IT at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. She’s since moved on. But in 2012, the organization won an Ingenious Award for a highly sophisticated analytics solution to detect gambling fraud.
