APC by Schneider Electric introduces MSP program

APC by Schneider Electric has announced a dedicated power and cooling managed services practice for partners and has appointed a dedicated managed services lead.

Jason Covitz, the company’s new global director of managed services, will be overseeing the expanded APC channel program, which will see changes to its technical enhancements, support, enablement and incentives for MSPs to include those around managed power and cooling services.

The program will also see integrations with APC’s Smart-UPS line of solutions, used mostly in remote monitoring and management platforms and professional services automation, for better product lifecycle management.

APC also promises integrations for all its product for easier management by partners.

Additional enhancements include new incentives including financing and rebate options specialized certification paths and sales training, and dedicated customer support.

“Through the integration and optimization of our connected offers, and the refocus of our sales and support teams to address the MSP business model, we are creating a community of practice which speaks to and shows MSPs how to increase top line revenue and decrease operational costs by adding power and cooling to their managed services portfolio,”  Rob McKernan, senior vice president of global IT channels at Schneider Electric said in a statement.
