Claroty announces integration with Cisco

Cisco has developed a new integrated solution with industrial cybersecurity firm Claroty, and it will combine Claroty’s Continous Threat Detection solution with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Firepower.

Claroty is one of 57 new technology integrations announced by Cisco last week. The new entrants are joining the Cisco Security Technology Alliance (CSTA), which was founded  in 2013 to bolster Cisco’s security portfolio. Cisco said 23 net-new vendor partners have joined the group as well. It’s Cisco’s largest CSTA announcement to date, according to a company blog post, bringing the alliance to more than 160 partners representing 280-plus product platform integrations.

Claroty, which has partners across Canada, said in its own blog post last week that Cisco has “created an unmatched ecosystem for protecting enterprise business networks,” and that Claroty’s expertise in the industrial space will add greater value to that alliance of partners.

Cisco says Claroty’s cybersecurity products will help Cisco Firepower “tune intrusion policy and help prioritize event information,” but more specifically, when it comes to Cisco pxGrid Integration, organizations using pxGrid and ISE can implement segmentation in their OT networks with Claroty.

Claroty recently launched its Channel Vision Program earlier this year and announced Siemens as a strategic investor and partner.
