D&H

D&H Canada has added AMD, Seagate and other manufacturers to its offering for the Canadian marketplace.

Besides AMD and Seagate, the Mississauga, Ont.-based SMB distributor has also signed Taiwan-based Cooler Master Technology Inc. and Milpitas, Calif.-based HighPoint Technologies Inc. to its system builder offering.

With AMD, D&H gets CPUs, processors, video and graphics cards. Cooler Master will bring fans and heatsinks, power supplies, ATX and mini-ATX cases, notebook accessories, and input devices. HighPoint has the SAS/SATA RAID storage solutions including the RocketStor brand, with Thunderbolt compatibility.

Finally, hard drive manufacturer Seagate will supply D&H with SSD products including server, SATA and notebook drives.

According to D&H, the company wants to continue to support niche market categories that are typically the domain of independent resellers. D&H has made system builders a core area of their business along with SMBs and SOHO (small office/home office).

Greg Tobin, general manager at D&H Canada, said adding these four new vendor partners is an exciting moment for D&H Canada.
“When our partnerships with influential and versatile manufacturers are gaining momentum, delivering benefits to specific areas of the business such as the custom systems space.  We are happy to augment our long-standing commitment to the system builder market, seeking out companies whose products have realized appreciable value for VARs in this sector. As a distribution partner, D&H has consistently pursued relationships that develop our overall proposition, creating a varied yet strategic assortment of quality products across a range of categories,” he said.
