Kaseya acquires Vorex, rebrands remote management offering

Kaseya

Kaseya has announced its acquisition of Vorex, in what is seen as another instance in the industry of remote monitoring and management (RMM) software and professional services automation (PSA) coming together as one.

In recent years, vendors have increasingly grown to offer both capabilities as the growth of MSPs drive the need to combine the solutions.

Fewer vendors today offer one solution while referring to a third party for the other.

To this end, Kaseya has also announced its new Business Management Solution, an RMM offering that will be free for one year to ConnectWise, Autotask and Tigerpaw Software customers.

Regularly it’s priced at $25 per user per month, and is meant to automate staff scheduling, streamline marketing, selling, billing and deploying processes as well as supporting new services.

“Kaseya believes that MSPs should minimize the amount of money spent on non-revenue generating products and activities,” Fred Voccola, Kaseya’s chief executive said in a statement. “Kaseya has raised the bar for improving staff productivity and business profitability by introducing Kaseya BMS at an unheard of price point.”

The value of the deal was not revealed.
